I had a fantastic stay at a property in Ilkeston. The beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night's sleep. The house was warm and cozy, and the modern, well-stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. The communication from the owner was excellent, and the property was easy to find. Everything we needed was on hand, and there were plenty of bedrooms to choose from. The location was perfect for exploring the local area, and there were food shops and takeaways within walking distance. I highly recommend this property for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
One slight drawback was that the listing mentioned breakfast being included, but it turned out to be more like a continental breakfast with just cereal in the cupboard. Additionally, the listing included a restaurant as a facility, but the only option nearby was a Chinese takeaway.

We had a fantastic stay at this conveniently located property. It was easy to find and the heating had been turned on, making it warm and inviting upon our arrival. the kitchen and dining area were well-stocked and spacious, allowing us to cook and enjoy a lovely meal together. the bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious. We appreciated the quiet atmosphere at night and the easy on-road parking. It was also great to have food shops and cafes within walking distance.
One small issue was the slight smoke smell in the house. this can easily be addressed by the host putting up a note to remind guests not to smoke indoors.

Great selection of cereals to choose , beds were very comfortable and rooms had plenty of space. It was very quiet at night, easy on road parking , with shops/cafes within short walking distance. Plus, the property was well located, with good transport links and close to local areas of attraction.
There was smoke smell in the house, not significant but noticeable, suggest the host to put a note stopping smokers inside the house/rooms. the outside paved area with seating was not well-maintained.

The property was well located, making it easy to find and convenient for exploring Nottingham. The heating was on when we arrived, which was perfect for the cold winter weather. The kitchen and dining area were well stocked and spacious, allowing us to cook and enjoy a meal together. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and held the heat well, even when the heating was off. we had a pleasant stay and would consider returning in the future.
Parking was a challenge as cars were blocking the gates, making it difficult to access. the carpet grips on the stairs were poking through, posing a safety hazard, especially for children.

The value for money at this hotel was exceptional. The rooms were bright, welcoming, and impeccably clean, exceeding our expectations. The location was perfect for our needs, with easy access to both the Download festival and the Nottingham Open tennis tournament. The staff treated us with clear communication and provided everything we needed for a convenient stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and ample supplies of tea, coffee. We were impressed and would definitely stay again.
The only suggestion I have to improve the hotel breakfast is to ensure that the boxes of cereals are checked regularly to prevent them from becoming stale. This small adjustment would enhance the overall dining experience for guests.
